How to Color Wash with a Sponge

Sponge Color Wash Glaze

Mix together the following ingredients:

• 1 part latex or acrylic paint

• 8 parts water

Brush Color Wash Glaze

Mix together the following ingredients:

• 1 part flat latex paint

• 1 part latex paint conditioner

• 2 parts water

Mask off the surrounding area, using painter’s masking tape, and cover the floor with waterproof drop cloths. Apply a base coat of low-luster latex enamel paint, using a paint roller. Allow the paint to dry.
